Dr. Terry Lashley
Resume
Terry Lashley is the Executive Director of SouthEast Educational, Inc, a non-profit. She received a B.S. degree in Biology from the University of Wisconsin, Superior, and an M.S. and Ph.D. in Science Education and Instructional Technology from the University of Tennessee. She has over 35 years of progressive education and experience in managing program design and development of K-16 instruction and curricular reform for teachers and students; conducting classes in science, mathematics and information technology for elementary teachers and middle/high school students and teachers; evaluation of large scale reform projects; grant development; evaluation; and development of undergraduate, graduate and pre-service teachers. She is active in educational reform efforts and serves in executive leadership positions for local, regional and national Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) education programs.

Mr. Chuck English
Resume
Chuck English is the Associate Director of SouthEast Educational, Inc. He received a B.S. degree in Psychology and an M.S. in Science Education from West Virginia University. He has over 16 years of education and experience in working with students and educators in formal and informal educational settings. His work ranges from serving as an elementary school educator through work as a college instructor of computer science and physical science. He has helped to develop state standards and assessments and has evaluated school programs, curriculum and museum projects. He is active in efforts to reform education at the regional, state and national level by serving in leadership roles for professional organizations, particularly in the content areas of Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics. His service also includes helping students understand the value of post-secondary education.

Mrs. Diane Vaughn
Resume
Diane Vaughn is a consultant for SouthEast Educational Inc. She received her B.S. in Foods and Nutrition from Middle Tennessee State University and her M.A. in Administration and Supervision from Tennessee Technological University. She has over 30 years of experience in education including working as the Science and Mathematics Specialist for her local district, development of state standards, serving as a Master Teacher with the Appalachian Rural Systemic Initiative (ARSI) and the State President for the Tennessee State Science Teachers Association (TSTA). Her work with SouthEast Educational, Inc. includes providing professional development on various content and pedagogical topics, working with assessments and helping schools and school leaders implement effective educational practices.

Mrs. Christy Mahoney
Christy Mahoney is a consultant for SouthEast Educational, Inc. She received her B.S. and M.S. in Education from the University of Tennessee. She has over 30 years of experience in education leading to her roles as a system wide Math Consultant for the Knox County (Tennessee) schools as well as a state Exemplary Educator for Tennessee. Her work was focused on utilizing the most effective tools for teaching mathematics. She still works as a specialist in math education nationally. Her work with SouthEast Educational, Inc. continues to take advantage of her math expertise and she also provides direct support to help students understand the value of post-secondary education.

Mrs. Jill Forney
Resume
Jill Forney is a consultant for SouthEast Educational, Inc. She received her B.A. in Sociology and Critical Thinking from Sonoma State University and her M.A. in Educational Methodology from Arizona State University. She has over 20 years of experience primarily in evaluation, but her experience also includes teaching high school and college students. She specializes in qualitative and quantitative research methods, research design, and instrument development. She is experienced in the use of educational data and school observations. Her work with SouthEast Educational, Inc. includes support of several grants maintained by the organization as well as a professional development specialist in evaluation and the use of school data.
